As a young person, I loved taking photos. My first introduction to it was a‬
‭ darkroom class I took while at Girl Scout Camp way back. I had a Kodak 110 with‬
‭ a wrist strap that I took everywhere. My love of imagery never waned. As I got‬
‭ older, I learned the technical stuff using an old Olympus OMG that my dad gave‬
‭ me. I scratched the F-stops and shutter speeds into the silver in order to learn. I‬
‭ still shoot with that camera today
‭ When digital Photography came around, I fell in love. As a mom, it gave me‬
‭ the ability to shoot photos of every moment of every day without the cost of‬
‭ developing. As my kids grew older, we became more active outdoors, and my‬
‭ love of imagery turned to nature. I escaped as much as possible to be behind the‬
‭ camera in the woods.‬‭
‭ When my kids went off to college, it offered me the time to do the same. I‬
‭ began classes in photography at my local college, where I was able to learn‬
‭ more technical skills and bring my visions to life.
‬‭
You will find me traveling as much as possible and capturing small‬
‭ wonders to share. Like they say,
“pics or it didn't happen”
.‬
